The Sweep Process
Below is a timeline of one of our recent sweeps, to guide you through the processes that are involved.
Pre-sweep Setup
Set up of all equipment as well as sealing the entrance to the chimney to avoid any soot or debris from escaping.
Pre-sweep Inspection
Above is the view of the chimney before it was swept, soot and debris clinging to the chimney wall.
Post-sweep Inspection
This is the view after the sweep, as you can see all deposits have been removed leaving the chimney clean and smoke efficient.
Post Sweep Test
Removal of all soot and debris using our Hepa Filtration Unit vacuum along with a post sweep test to ensure chimney wall integrity.
